Keeping track of your Roofrack Keys

A roofrack fitted to most vehicles is a crossbar which clips onto a roof mounted leg kit and locks into place with a key.

With each kit there are normally a set of two small keys and the time somebody wants to remove the crossbar, they are not to be found.

We suggest when you receive the keys, separate them immediately; put one on the same keyring as the ignition key for the car.

Keep the spare in a labelled envelope in the family command centre or Household management file.

This way, you will never have to waste time & energy trying to locate another key!
